Overview

Corporate Communications Manager responsible for managing our public relations activities and external communications. 

 

This role can be based in Austin, TX, Portland, OR, or Chicago, IL. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for planning and executing effective corporate communications strategies
  • Lead our public relations efforts including management of our PR agency
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the company to develop integrated communications plans, execute and evaluate/measure effectiveness.
  • Develop, track and maintain communication plans and timelines to ensure successful delivery of communication campaigns.
  • Create corporate communications assets including corporate collateral, social media content, event promotions, thought leadership content and web content
  • Partner with creative and other relevant teams to align messages and execute integrated campaigns
  • Assist on employee communications as needed
  • Partner with program marketing team to provide PR and social media consulting as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in journalism or communications or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to manage public relations and crisis communications
  • Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
  • Highly seasoned project management skills
  • Comfortable and poised working with clients and executive teams
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
  • High energy and results oriented
  • Consummate team player and collaborator
  • Ambitious, hard-working and determined
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings
