Overview

Use your skills and prowess as a Graphic Designer to create memorable and effective creative work that inspires people and businesses to use less energy. Work closely with our creative team (art directors, copywriters, editors and fellow designers) and together we’ll make beautiful work that matters.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with designers, copywriters, creative directors, art directors and production artists
  • Develop conceptual and tactical designs backed by strategy (love the brief) that solve our clients problems
  • Meet or beat deadlines
  • Set stretching but realistic goals
  • Always striving for quality, efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy in every aspect of work
  • Produces high-quality work quickly and efficiently, even under pressure
  • Contributes to strong morale and spirit
  • Is solution driven not problem driven
  • Displays a conscientious commitment to get the job done (overcomes obstacles through a strong work ethic and smart problem solving)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or other graphics discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a graphic designer with an agency or large in-house creative department
  • Proven creative concepting and design skills
  • Expert skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Understanding of web development and other digital requirements
  • Working knowledge of traffic flow processes to move seamlessly from strategic to tactical execution within tight deadlines
  • Have the right functional skills and technical knowledge required to perform role to the highest standards
  • Comfortable presenting basic ideas internally and to clients
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic
  • Proactive, self-starting, a quick study and always thinking
  • Have passion for all aspects of advertising; social media, broadcast, grass roots, print, viral, etc.
  • Is solution driven not problem driven
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and manage priorities
  • Be nice
