Overview

The Field Supervisor will be working under the Program Manager. The Supervisor manages a team of Energy Auditors and performs training and QA/QC of paperwork and work performed.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews audit form for completeness  and accuracy
  • Reviews pictures to ensure that decision making is correct
  • Reviews work scope for prioritization of measures, use of spending allowance, thoroughness and proper explanation
  • Ensures all Program paperwork is in file and properly filled out
  • Identifies training opportunities
  • Pass/Fail audit, provide reason for failure and provide file to auditor to make corrections
  • Identifies next step for file (contractor, $ request, Wx, close out, etc.)
  • Approves bonus paperwork for items installed at audits
  • Ensures all completed audits are turned back in for review within 48 hours
  • Ensures no-shows are returned within 24 hours to be rescheduled
  • Keeps track of files returned to Auditor after review failure and ensure they are re-submitted in a timely manner
  • Holds monthly auditor meetings to identify and discuss issues, discuss program procedures, standards, best practices and changes, and to review trends, etc.
  • Directs field training of auditing staff in the field
  • Authorizes new auditing staff to conduct audits without a trainer
  • Follow up with trainees to ensure they are progressing
  • Maintains inventory for auditing staff, Lightbulbs, CO Alarms, Aerators and shower heads, Thermostats
  • Maintains minimum inventories for both locations
  • Approves PTO requests
  • Ability to identify additional work opportunities
  • Perform weatherization improvements as needed
  • This position will supervise all Energy Auditors within the region

  • Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
  • Ability to utilize common hand tools
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
  • Quality minded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of communication and client relationship
  • Has full knowledge of program requirements and standards
  • Has full knowledge of residential energy use
  • Preferred Associates Degree or experience equivalent
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 5 years of relevant construction experience
  • Preferred 3 years of relevant residential energy usage and/or utility programs
  • Experience with job scope pricing
