Overview

CLEAResult is hiring a Procurement Director based out of our headquarters in Austin, Texas.  The Procurement Director is responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals, relationship management and negotiations with suppliers, insurance, and fleet management for over 80 sites across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a dynamic team of 8-10 professionals reporting into the company CFO
  • Optimize relationships with suppliers to balance cost and quality
  • Partner with business leaders across the company to identify new and increased spending needs as the company continues to grow and expand into new markets
  • Renegotiate numerous agreements to more properly reflect the significant growth and spend the company has seen over the past two years
  • Ensure that CLEAResult always has a stable of qualified vendors that can meet and exceed our internal and external customer requirements at preferred pricing level
  • Strategically develop and implement commodity/supply chain strategies covering all commodities, non-subcontract services and supplier processes throughout a global enterprise to deliver maximum value, leverage, and standardization.
  • Provide commodity support to New Program Teams as required meeting target costs and establishing program cost models.
  • Improve utilization of automation and controls around key areas of spending
  • Manage relationship with Corporate Insurance provider and continuously identify ways to drive incremental savings without introducing risk
  • Manage fleet of approximately 400 corporate cars. This includes ensuring the proper company policies are in place regarding fleet, we are effectively utilizing various forms of automation to manage the fleet and creating strong partnerships with fleet providers
  • Supports Accounting and Finance Departments to help streamline and implement best practices, budget and forecast inputs and viable financing alternatives
  • Ensure “buyers" are properly trained and follow purchasing requirements and policies.
  • Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of procurement activities to include but not limited to supplier performance, supplier quality, internal order placement performance, buyer activity levels, financial (AP) performance, and material shortage elimination.
  • Report to management the measurable status of progress and corrective actions as it pertains to supplier performance.
  • Ensure performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked and reported on as required for supply base management and improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Prior procurement experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university
  • 12+ years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing or relative business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Ability to present/speak effectively in front of groups
  • Represent CLEAResult with the highest level of integrity
